Aura, we have lots of black Muscovy ducks around here. From now on, they'll always make me think of you and smile!

Hi Aura,
I laughed, picturing the little black duck....LOL
I live in Florida--where we have a good solid 3 months of 90-100f temps nearly every day. Our summers are brutal, but I don't hurt nearly as much in the heat. That first little dip of cool in the fall sets me off, and I'm pretty much in constant pain until gets and stays warm, in the spring.

Way to go I know that cold can put a kink in the works yet when I start to love even the pain I start to feel better and can get on with life with a sense of fun. Taking a step back can be an eye opener when I cant walk so well it reminds me how ducks waddle and I can laugh at my inner black duck waddling around until it feels okay again. Aura
Ps 40celsus heat can do some real damage too especially when you have over a fortnight of it to cope with other things can show up too.

Hi Bonnie,
I'm with ya girlfriend, on the cold thing...I'm about 100 miles north of you!
I have rheumatoid, some degree of pain always, usually mild to moderate, but this cold stuff kills me. I don't take any pain pills, outside the occasional aspirin, when I'm really desperate--and it only helps a little. Mostly I just live with it. These past few days have been miserable!
